Bayou Roux, Houma, LA, 2008
The 1st Annual Bayou Roux is a new event in Houma which celebrates all dishes with a roux as a base. It is put on in conjunction with the World Cultural Economic Forum. Our idea was to kick off their first year with a monochromatic color palette—similar to "cooking with a roux." Each year, the idea will build upon itself; adding hints of color as one would add ingredients when cooking with a roux!
